Syracuse Food Trucks

From April through October, you’ll be able to wrangle up some grub at one of the popular food truck rodeos, hosted throughout Syracuse. Whether you’re into fish tacos, grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or wood-fired pizza, there’s mobile deliciousness to suit every palate. Since these restaurants are on wheels, they are known to make stealthy moves; check out Facebook or search #SYRfoodtruck for the most up-to-date info on these popular, traveling eateries.

Tortilla Jacks boasts delicious carnitas, tamales, huevos rancheros, fried pork skin and fresh squeezed watermelon. Try  the Baja fish tacos, street corn and smothered burritos.

STIR Mobile Eatery puts a hipster spin on burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches in their canary yellow truck.

Mami's Kitchen offers Puerto Rican flavor, featuring Cuban sandwiches, Pernil (roast pork) sliders and Tostones.

Toss 'N Fire heats things up with a 1,000-degree wood-fire-oven, and serves fresh "Neapolitan fusion.”

Chicken Bandit makes a mean bird.

Heid's Mobile Trailer is a “mini-me” of their location in Liverpool and serves local products including Hofmann hots, coneys, Byrne Dairy ice cream and chocolate milk.

That's What's Up features traditional and ethnic items, like a banh mi meatball, poutine, and mixed bison/beef sliders.

Burgers, hot dogs, wraps, grilled cheese and the very popular grilled peanut butter and jelly round out the menu of PB&J Lunch Box.

The oldest food truck in Syracuse, Ladybug Lunch Box is regularly parked near Firefighter's Park on East Fayette Street. Try the "Popeye,” a grilled cheese and spinach combo.

Ponchito's Taqueria serves up authentic Mexican cuisine.

Shattuck's Paddy Wagon’s menu includes several variations on chimichangas and tacos, plus Siracha-infused tater tots.

Keep an eye out for Military Moms food truck, spotted on Food Network last year. The Watertown, NY based food truck often heads to Syracuse for major events and serves up dishes like the “Beefy General”—braised beef, shredded topped with our Mac & Cheese, bourbon BBQ sauce, crunchy onions all on a toasted bun, served with a spork and homemade pickle spear.
