With almost a full year of binging the latest shows behind us now, you might find it hard to be facing another few months of being cooped up indoors! Therefore we’ve curated a list of some of the top spots that have appeared in movies filmed in the Syracuse area. Watch the movie and then go check out the spot, snap a selfie or check out some of the other attractions we’ve noted for you!

The Gem Diner: A Syracuse staple since 1950, The Gem used for filming this drama back in 2017.

Long Branch Park: This portion of the popular Onondaga Lake Park was used for filming in 2018. You’ll notice the bridge and Seneca River in scenes.
Leavenworth Park/Dietz Building: The former Dietz Lantern Company turned apartment building and nearby Leavenworth Park were the backdrop for scenes filmed during the summer of 2018.

Hanover Square: This popular downtown Syracuse neighborhood was home to several days of shooting during the summer of 2019. The Binge filled the space with larger than life balloon displays for a musical scene.
Glazed & Confused: This popular donut shop was the site for filming the 2018 production.
