Pride Month 2026 in Central New York
The centerpiece of Pride Month 2026 in Syracuse is the CNY Pride Parade and Festival, taking place Saturday, June 13 at Progress Park in Syracuse's Inner Harbor.
Every year, thousands of attendees from across Central New York convene in Syracuse for this annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride.
The parade steps off at 11am, winding through Solar Street and West Kirkpatrick Street before the festival opens at noon. With over 150 vendors, live entertainment, food and beverages, and a family-friendly area, the festival runs until 5pm and draws people of all ages, identities, and backgrounds.
But Pride Weekend is more than one afternoon. Here's how to make the most of three full days in Syracuse.
Book Your Room at the Aloft Hotel
The Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor sits right in the heart of the action - and this year, it's also the home base for the official Pride kickoff. Rooms start at $149 a night, with availability for the full weekend (June 12-14). Book your room here before they sell out.
Friday, June 12 : The Party Starts Early
Don't wait until Saturday to join the fun. The weekend officially kicks off Friday evening at the Aloft Hotel with a Meet and Greet with Heidi N Closet at 6:30pm - a rare chance to spend time with this beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race star before she headlines the Pride Festival entertainment the following day. Register here.
Immediately following, the CNY Pride Kickoff Party runs from 7–10pm, also at the Aloft. It's free to attend with a live DJ, performances by local drag royalty, and a cash bar.

Saturday, June 13 - The Main Event
The parade steps off at 11am and it is colorful, joyful, and loud in the best way. If you've never watched a Pride parade on the streets of Syracuse, bring your sunscreen and get there early to find a spot along Solar Street and take it in.
After the parade, the CNY Pride Festival opens at Progress Park from noon to 5pm. Browse the vendor area, catch the entertainment, grab something to eat, and don't skip the family-friendly zone if you're traveling with kids. Check the Festival and Vendor Map so you know the lay of the land when you arrive.

When the festival wraps, the Pride Picnic at Wolf's Den (617 Wolf St) picks up right at 5pm - free to attend and a natural next stop if you want to refuel and reconnect with friends before getting ready for the after party.
Then the night shifts into full gear with The Official CNY Pride After Party featuring Willam at the Song and Dance (115 E Jefferson St) starting at 9pm (doors at 8). This is a ticketed show - don't wait. Get your tickets here. Tickets range from $25–$65 plus fees.
Sunday, June 14 - A Gentle Landing
Sunday offers two very different ways to finish the weekend.
The Big Bear Film Fest Fundraiser, hosted by Bear-A-Cuse and Manlius Cinema, featuring two short films, plus an exclusive sneak preview of an upcoming Bear community documentary, runs from 6-8:30pm at Manlius Cinema (135 E Seneca St, Manlius, NY) with a suggested donation of $25. It's a short drive from downtown and offers a fascinating look at Bear Culture in the LGBTQIA+ community. More info here.
For those who'd rather end the night in the city, Dinner & Drag at Emerald Cocktail Kitchen (1333 W Fayette St) runs from 5-8pm. Tickets are available here - a perfect final evening for those who want to keep the party going and enjoy one more show.
Plan Ahead
The full Pride Month calendar lives at cnypride.org - there's more happening across June and across the region than just this one weekend. Check the Pride Guide for highlights of our community and Pink Pages listing local businesses and services that support the LGBTQIA+ community.
There are many groups, businesses and organizations building and supporting LGBTQIA+ community life in Central New York. Pride Weekend is when the rest of the region gets to see what we already know: Syracuse is a great place for the LGBTQIA+ community, and we're proud to show it off.
We hope you'll join us.
Love, Syracuse
