Syracuse Restaurants with Holiday Spirit

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and to prove that, many restaurants and bars across Onondaga County are beautifully decked out, feeling merry and bright.

Want to delve into the holly jolly-ness of the season but don’t know where to book a table? Here’s a list of some of the best places to eat, drink and be merry in Syracuse during the holidays.

Kitty Hoyne's Irish Pub

A staple of Armory Square for many reasons, Kitty’s is a must during the holiday season. The Irish coffee is made traditionally and is the perfect touch on a chilly winter’s day. Also, their decorations transport visitors to a festive celebration. Along with the traditional drink and decor, Kitty’s features an array of Irish whiskeys, ciders and beers, and a full menu of delicious bites and burgers. Open late, Kitty’s is the perfect place for happy hour, dinner with friends, or even a night cap.

The Brasserie Bar & Bistro

Bows are on chairs, ornaments hang high above and there’s a seasonal menu that must be tried. Head to Township 5 in Camillus to experience a unique bar and bistro with creative cocktails and a rotating menu. As you walk in this holiday season, you’ll be amazed by the festive decorations hung from ceiling to floor. The Brasserie is the perfect place for a girls night out, a company work party or to treat your parents to the dinner they deserve.

Heritage Hill Brewhouse

Located on a live farm, Heritage Hill in Pompey, New York makes their visitors feel like they’re home for the holidays. The Christmas trees in full decoration, garland hung with care, and lights strategically placed. Whether you’re there for a drink with friends or dinner with a loved one, the season will greet you warmly and you’ll be leaving holly, jolly, and full. Be sure to keep an eye on their events, as you never know when Santa might make an appearance on the farm.

Coleman's Irish Pub

While all of Tipperary Hill shines brightly during the holiday season, Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub decks their halls to the fullest with a traditional touch of red, green, bells, bows and lights throughout their restaurant. Stop in for a pint of Guinness, Smithwicks, Kilkenny or Manger’s cider, all imported from Ireland. Order their delectable pub food and catch up with those who matter most this season.

Le Malenge

New to Armory Square and conveniently located next door to Kitty Hoynes is a new restaurant known as Le Melange. When you and your party walk into Le Melange you’ll be overwhelmed with holiday cheer and joy from the hanging twinkling lights and poinsettia plants. Two giant nutcrackers will be there to greet you and the fireplaces are sure to make you feel cozy and warm from head to toe. Need plans for Christmas Eve dinner in Syracuse? They are one of the many restaurants that will be serving.
