Onondaga County Public Library
Overview
Onondaga County Public Libraries has so much to offer to residents and visitors. We have 9 libraries in the city of Syracuse, including our Central Library located at 447 South Salina St.
We also have an additional 21 suburban libraries in the suburbs. Not to mention two satellite libraries in the city and a free children's library called the SYR Reading Runway found at the Syracuse Hancock International Airport. So, if you are flying home with the kids feel free to take a book for your kids to read on your flight.
Besides books, we have hundreds of fun programs each month at each library. You can check out video games, we have a catalogue of reading material for you online, and patrons can even check out park passes to places like Green Lakes State Park, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo and dozens of other attractions. All of this is free with your library card.
