Looking for a great spot to ski and snowboard? Reserve a lift ticket and spend a day outdoors at the Greek Peak Mountain Resort. Not only is Greek Peak home to 55 trails, multiple lifts and four terrain parks but they also have a tubing center for more snowy fun. After a day on the slopes, unwind with an apres-ski meal or beverage on their two-tier heated deck.
Warm up this winter with Finger Lakes wine by checking out stops on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. The trail includes 16 wineries, a cidery, distilleries and a meadery. Grab a bite to eat at one of their many scenic vistas and enjoy the splendor of snow-covered vineyards and cozy tasting rooms.
Adventure awaits in Oswego County for the outdoor recreation lover. In the winter, their landscape boasts activities like ice-climbing frozen formations near Salmon River Falls to ice-fishing along the north shore of Oneida Lake. The snowy season also brings snowmobilers from all over to the region for their popular trails.
Make the most of the season in Madison County from agritourism to the craft beverage scene. Escape to Critz Farms where you can enjoy activities like shopping fresh balsam fir wreaths or sampling hard cider including their Maple Moon maple cider. Warm up after snowshoeing at the Great Swamp Conservancy with a local brew from Good Nature Farm Brewery or Meier’s Creek Brewing Company.
