As the only current member of the Major Arena Soccer League in the state, the Syracuse Silver Knights reign supreme on the pitch. Thrilling soccer fans since their inaugural season in 2010, the Knights have qualified for the Division play-offs their last three years.
Featuring 18 Division I men’s and women’s teams, Syracuse University and the Carrier Dome are iconic sporting destinations in the region. Home to the 2003 Men’s Basketball Champions, the Carrier Dome continuously draws one of the largest on-campus crowds, topping out at over 26,000 in 2014. Also calling the Dome home is the storied men’s lacrosse team, an 11-time NCAA National Champion.
