The Winter Fair is back and better than ever for its 7th year! As Central New York’s premier indoor winter festival, this beloved event transforms the NYS Fairgrounds into a warm and lively celebration of the season. From delicious local eats and family-friendly entertainment to unique vendors and carnival rides, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Clear your calendar for this year's dates: January 30 - February 1, 2026.

 

Exciting New Features

Get out and enjoy a taste of summer at the fairgrounds to brighten your winter. Their theme for 2026 is Making Memories, which is exactly what you and your family will do when you step inside the exposition center. Their secondary theme is Look to the children! in honor of the kids who will be performing each day, from elementary school to college-aged.

 

Delicious Eats

Come hungry because all your Fair food favorites are here! Treat yourself to corn dogs, deep-fried cheese on a stick, cotton candy, fresh-squeezed lemonade, Sno-Cones, and deep-fried Oreos. Want something local? Check out area vendors like Kiki's Authentic Greek Cuisine, Baked Potato Express, Villa's Pizze Fritte, Ji-Woo's Korean Seoul Food, Limp Lizard, and Yum-Yum Shack.

 

Games Galore

Take your shot at the Midway's Duck Pond, Balloon Pop, Shark Attack Fishing, and the classic Fish Toss. Don’t miss the new, fully digital High Striker, a modern twist on a carnival classic that’s sure to wow kids and adults alike.

 

Ice Sculptures & Fireworks

Step outside to admire stunning ice sculptures and enjoy Winter Fireworks. Reindeer will be back outside alongside the sculptures. Have your picture taken with the live reindeer from Hanggi Farms. Firework shows will be on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:45 PM, presented by Onondaga County.

 

Live Music

The Destiny USA Winter Fair Stage will feature non-stop entertainment all weekend! Catch performances by talented local acts like Los Blancos, Brass Inc., Barndogs, The Arcade, and The BlackLites, and more, bringing their funk, soul, and energy to the Winter Fair.
