Syracuse Irish Festival
A weekend celebration of all things Irish, from music to food and even specialty shops, all found downtown in Clinton Square. The 2024 event runs from September 6-7 and features musical performances from The Aoife Scott Band, The Glengarry Bhoys, Neil Emberg & Hadrian’s Wall, Conor Mallon, and more!
Golden Harvest Festival
Enjoy this cherished CNY tradition in its 45th year at Beaver Lake Nature Center on September 7-8, 2024. There is something for everyone with live music and entertainment on three stages, nature games and crafts, local vendors and artists, homemade donuts, animal demonstrations, pie-eating contests, and food trucks. This event is rain or shine and is accessible with on-site parking.
Festa Italiana
One of the area's top food festivals, Festa Italiana, returns from September 13-15, 2024 in front of City Hall in Downtown Syracuse. Fill up on food from Avicolli's Italian Restaurant, desserts from Biscotti Cafe, and more local Italian vendors, and check out the entertainment schedule to catch one of the area acts performing on the main or second stage.
Jordan Fall Festival
The Jordan Fall Festival has been running for 78 years and will take place this September 20-22, 2024. It features a Car, Jeep, and Truck show, craft and merchant tents, greased pole climbs, kids' activities and rides, live entertainment and fair foods. Head out to Jordan for the weekend, or volunteer your time to support this community!
ON Farm Fest
Celebrating its 8th year, the ON Farm Fest offers a free day of family fun at local farms across Onondaga County. Enjoy farm tours, live music, local products and more on Saturday, September 21th from 10am - 3pm. Participating farms include Albanese Longhorns, Anyela's Vineyards, Brady Farm, Dutch Hill Maple, Emmi Farms, Navarino Orchard, Palladino Farms and Heritage Hill Brewhouse, The Pumpkin Hollow, Rocking Horse Farm, Sunshine Horses, Twin Birch Dairy, and Whitetail Tree Farms. This event is inclusive and accessible to all community members.

Outdoor Fall Concerts
Empower FCU Amphitheater at Lakeview is host to several fall concerts this year, including Hootie & the Blowfish (9/4), Pitbull (9/7), Post Malone (9/14), and more.
The Great New York State Fair will be offering a wide variety of concerts and shows throughout its 14-day schedule. Shows are included in the fairgoers' fee at the gate. The 2024 Fair music lineup at Suburban Park and Chevy Court is packed, so plan your day now.
Game Days
The Syracuse Mets baseball team continues their 2024 season into September. With 12 games home throughout September, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to catch a game before the season ends.
Kick off college football season at the JMA Wireless Dome, when the Syracuse University Orange take on the Ohio University Bobcats, on Augst 31 during Navy Week. The Orange will also take the home field against Georgia Tech (9/7), Stanford (9/20), and Holy Cross (9/28) during September.
Syracuse Inner Harbor Fest
Enjoy the Syracuse Inner Harbor and all it has to offer at this two-day festival. (Sept 27-28) featuring dragon boat racing to benefit Clear Path for Veterans and The Baldwin Fund. This family-friendly festival includes food trucks and craft beer, live music, carnival rides, craft vendors, yard games, a 5K race, and fireworks. Whether you joined a dragon boat race team, or are a spectator on the sides, it's sure to a fun-filled weekend.
