This three-day Carnival Rides & Treats Independence Day Celebration returns to the Fairgrounds for 2023. Previously held in the Orange Lot, the event will be held on the Midway and features even more rides, games and fireworks than before! The event runs from Friday, June 30 - Sunday, July 2nd. Admission is free and parking is free until 6pm, $15 thereafter. With 3 firework showings this is the largest Independence Celebration in Upstate New York, don't miss out on it!
Classic Rock + Fireworks. Enjoy the musical stylings of Hard Promises, Prime Time Horns and Mr. Monkey Duo followed by a fireworks display, all taking place at the Paper Mill Island Amphitheater on Sunday July 2nd 4:00 - 11:00 pm. Get your tickets today!
Cheer on the Syracuse Mets and enjoy a weekend of games followed by firework extravaganzas, Friday, Saturday AND Sunday! The Mets host a three-game homestand vs. the Scranton/WB RailRiders from Saturday July 1 - Monday July 3. Fireworks take place immediately following games throughout the weekend. (Bonus: stop back to the stadium Friday, July 14 for their game against the Rochester Red Wings, when Donate Life presents another post-game fireworks extravaganza!)
Kicking off the village's Independence Day celebrations on July 4th, the chicken BBQ and food truck line-up runs 4p - dusk, with the parade commencing at 5p. Enjoy music and entertainment from 6p onward, until the massive fireworks display begins at dusk.
East Syracuse Community Concert + Fireworks
Keep the Fourth festivities going through the month of July with concerts and one of the most touted fireworks displays on Saturday, July 8th. The celebration starts with local band Infinity covering classic rock hits from the 70s & 80s, including Journey, Van Halen, Toto, Bon Jovi & more, 6:15 - 9:15. The fireworks show will begin after the concert at dusk.
