Outdoor Venues

St. Joseph's Health Amphitheater at Lakeview

Make sure to buy tickets to see your favorite band play at this lakeside venue. Their season's lineup showcases talent from a multitude of genres, including Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain, Phish, Yellow Card, and so many more!

Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards

The Summer Concert Series is back at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards, adding more opportunities to enjoy live music with a 1911 Hard Cider in hand. Artists headed to their Apple Campus include Noah Khan, Fleet Foxes, and Nickle Creek.

Paper Mill Island Amphitheater

A favorite local spot, this Amphitheater is located right on the water in Baldwinsville and offers several summer concerts as well as a 4th of July weekend show with fireworks! Check out Umphrey's McGee, Almost Queen, Badfish, or stop out on July 1st for B'ville Blast featuring local group Hard Promises and a fireworks display.

Local Favorites

When the summer sun comes our favorite local breweries, bars and restaurants move their music spots outdoors. Head to Middle Ages or Skaneateles Brewery for entertainment and local craft beverages. For good eats and good beats check out spots like The Retreat, Crazy Daisies, Limp Lizard or Maplewood Bar & Grill. 

Music Festivals

Chevy Court & Chevy Park 

Taking place throughout the Fair's 13 days, the Chevy Court and Chevy Park concert series' have something for everyone. Concerts between the two stages include Jimmie Allen, Night Ranger, Chevelle, Boyz II Men, Nelly, Dropkick Murphys, 24KGoldn, Foreigner, and many more!

New York State Blues fest

This free Syracuse music festival is back again in 2023. This year, Bluesfest will again take place at Chevy Court and run from June 15 - 18. Headliners include Buddy Guy with Damn Right Farewell, Guitar powerhouse, Samantha Fish and her group featuring Jesse Dayton, will be touring with Buddy and will play the support spot just prior to the blues journeyman.

Syracuse Jazz Fest

After five years, the Syracuse Jazz Fest has returned! For the first time since 2000 the festival returns to Clinton Square and the downtown Syracuse region, running from June 21 - 25. June 22nd performances will feature a large variety of local artists performing throughout downtown at area restaurants and other venues. Friday and Saturday performances will take place in Clinton Square and feature top artists including Post Modern Jukebox, Tower of Power, Herbie Hancock, Tuba Skinny, Spyro Gyro, and Gladys Knight.

Skaneateles Festival

This four-week festival returns for 2023, with performances running Thursday through Sunday from July 25 - August 19. Highlights include the Elliott Fisk, Danish String Quartet, Bela Fleck, Kearstin Piper Brown, Itamar Zorma, Julia Bruskin, and so many more.

Weekly Syracuse Series

In addition to our favorite weekend-long festivals, the Syracuse area offers several weekly concert series during the weekdays. Head to Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub for their Thursday Night Block Parties. Thursday's are full of live music with the addition of Party on the Patio at Eleven Waters running from May 2023 - February 2024. Hanover Thursdays returns for it's second season of music happening for 5 weeks through the month of August. This party takes place in Hanover Square every Thursday of August from 5 - 9 pm. Local favorite Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is back with LIVE MUSIC for their Boneyard Summer Series. Join them outside every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm - 8pm for live entertainment and some good old BBQ!
