Theater & Dance/Arts

The world is your child’s stage at these area theater and dance camps. The Syracuse Children’s Theatre offers multiple camp weeks, featuring different shows to pick from and divides students up by age ranges for instruction and practice. Redhouse Arts Center also offers summer shows and workshops. Most shows require campers to be at least 10 years of age for the performances and musician focused sessions, but the Little Campers program is open for ages 6-10 and allows them to discover a variety of arts-based experiences. The Everson Museum also hosts five-sessions of summer camp for ages 5-7 and 8-12. Each week has a different class theme from ceramics to digital art, fabrics and more!

Sports

From soccer and lacrosse to ninja training and rock climbing there’s a summer camp no matter your athletic preferences! Head to the Warrior Factory for full or half-day ninja camp, now with specialty days and field trips! The Ultimate Goal Family Sports Center offers a Multi-sport camp and Adventure Camp alongside their soccer camp programs. Central Rock Gym offers weekly summer camps for ages 8-13 to learn basic climbing skills, techniques, team building and more. You can also check out most sports centers, gymnastics studios and city, town or village parks and rec programming for summer sports camps, arts and more!

Recreation

Offering nine weeks of camps, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo is sure to offer a wild time for your littles. Campers will be thrilled by the animal encounters, zoo tours, and STEAM challenges each week. Looking for something out in nature? Then Baltimore Woods is the spot for summer camp fun! Campers can explore the beaver pond, catch frogs, roast hot dogs, play camp games, learn about trees and birds and more! Camp is open to K-8th grades.

Overnight

Situated on Skaneateles Lake, Lourdes Camp, offers campers an overnight or day camp program featuring swim lessons, arts & crafts, sailing, archery, hiking, soccer, drama, volleyball, ropes course and more!
